Yesterday, a pedestrian was killed by a pick-up truck in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The incident took place around 5:50 a.m. on Foothill Boulevard, east of Mayten Avenue, leading to the death of a 28-year-old male. His identity is currently withheld for family notification, as repoted by San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
Reports indicate the victim was lying on the eastbound lane of Foothill Boulevard before the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The truck’s driver cooperated with investigators, having stayed at the scene after the incident, according to the Sheriff-Coroner's announcement.
Currently, the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station, Major Accident Investigation Team, is investigating the cause of the accident.
