A pedestrian was struck and killed on Country Village Road in Jurupa Valley, California early Saturday morning. The identity of the pedestrian is pending at this time. The driver involved remained on site and is cooperating with the current investigation. The cause of the incident is yet to be determined.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Office reports that the collision took place around 3:26 a.m. They were quick to respond, arriving and finding the pedestrian seriously injured on the scene. There is currently an ongoing investigation into the nature of the incident.
