Yesterday, the Perris Station's Traffic Team from the Riverside County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic operation in Perris City. The operation focused on educating drivers to reduce accidents. Monitored from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. along the Ramona Expressway, the team issued various citations and made several arrests, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's website. Results included four citations for commercial vehicle code violations, four administrative citations for failing to utilize the Perris City designated truck route, 11 citations for unsafe speeds, and three arrests—two for outstanding warrants, and one on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
