Yesterday, a two-car garage at 908 N Macneil St in San Fernando caught fire. San Fernando's Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) immediately arrived at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading further and consequently securing the nearby residences as per LAFD ALERT.
LAFD's intervention was crucial, managing to contain and extinguish the fire within thirteen minutes of their arrival, according to LAFD ALERT. A team of 23 firefighters successfully managed to extinguish the fully involved fire and prevent any significant damage to neighboring structures, with no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
