Yesterday evening, a reckless driving suspect led the San Fernando Police Department and California Highway Patrol on an extended chase. The suspect refused to stop for the authorities and ended up crashing into a bystander's vehicle and a wall, according to CBS Los Angeles.
In its coverage of the incident, FOX 11 Los Angeles reported that the suspect's vehicle sustained substantial damage, including a flipped hood, hanging front bumper, and fully deployed airbags. The condition of the other driver involved in the collision is yet to be determined.
In the course of the pursuit, the suspect performed various risky actions, including slow driving, opening the car door in transit, and throwing items at pursuing law enforcement. Despite the suspect's reckless actions, the authorities continued the pursuit until he was subdued and arrested by a K-9 unit.
