A theft incident that transpired at a WSS Store in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, on Sunday, has been caught on video. As per the KABC report, the suspects fled the scene with merchandise crammed into trash bags, though the total worth of the stolen items remains undetermined.
The KTLA report unveils more specifics of the theft. Eight suspects—five men and three women—have been identified stealing an estimate of $5,000 to $6,000 in clothing and shoes. The crime is considered an organized retail theft by the Los Angeles Police Department. The surveillance footage portrayed some of the suspects nonchalantly moving throughout the store, stuffing merchandise into bags, while others simply walked out with items.
Investigators continue to review the surveillance footage to identify the suspects.
