
On October 20, a burglary occurred in the unincorporated region of Riverside, involving theft of $15,000 worth of packaged cigarettes. As elaborated in a Riverside County Sheriff report, the crime was committed by three young men, who were soon apprehended.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff report, a victim observed three black males breaking his vehicle's window and stealing the cigarettes. They fled the scene in a black Volkswagen Tiguan, driven by a fourth suspect. Fifteen minutes later, sheriff deputies located the burning Tiguan near the 215 Freeway and Eucalyptus Avenue, confirming it to be the vehicle involved in the burglary.
The three suspects, 21-year-olds Donovan Eubanks and Jerome Johnson, and 28-year-old Yamonte Cross, were taken swiftly into law enforcement custody. The fourth suspect currently remains unidentified and at large.
To face charges including robbery, burglary, felony conspiracy, and resisting/obstructing peace officers, the suspects are awaited in the justice system.
Still ongoing is the investigation into the October 20th burglary.
