Yesterday, in the Florence-Firestone district of South Los Angeles, a high-speed collision involving multiple vehicles resulted in seven injuries, including three minors. The incident was the outcome of a robbery suspect trying to elude police.

At about 1:11 PM, Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to a three-vehicle crash at 250 W 81st Street, South LA. As per LAFD's report, of the seven individual who required medical attention, a 40-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, and a 28-year-old man were critically injured. The other four victims – a 24-year-old woman, a 5-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl, and a 5-month-old girl, were all listed in a stable condition.

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) plain clothes officers conducting area surveillance managed to identify the suspect. When attempting traffic stop, the suspect accelerated and crashed into a vehicle carrying six people – three adults and three children, ABC7 further reported. A third vehicle was also tangled into the accident. The car then continued until the vehicle hit a power pole.
