On Monday, October 2, 2023, an altercation ensued at Baldy's Market in Phelan, California, involving a customer, Jonathan Delorisses, aged 30. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department reports that Delorisses engaged in aggressive behavior, throwing rocks at another customer.
Despite the store employees' best efforts to control the situation, Delorisses retaliated by throwing a squeegee at them. It wasn't until two employees escorted him off the property that he finally left, hurling few more rocks in their direction as he did so.
Thankfully, the incident resulted in no injuries. Victor Valley Sheriff's Station deputies promptly arrested Delorisses across the street from Baldy's Market. He was then booked at the High Desert Detention Center on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
