On October 17, a violent crime took place on the 14600 block of 7th Street in Victorville, California. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, Robert Garcia, a 43-year-old male transient, armed with a pair of scissors, attacked a 63-year-old female resident of Apple Valley. The assailant was promptly apprehended and arrested, averting any further threat.
Garcia is now charged with attempted murder, assault with deadly force, and aggravated battery with serious bodily injury.
According to the notification from the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, the Victorville Police Station was seeking anyone with information related to the investigation.
