Yesterday, the Irvine Police Department took to Facebook to ask for public assistance in tracking down a serial burglar targeting Target stores across Southern California. The post included surveillance footage of the suspected individual, with the hopes that recognition may lead to pertinent information for the investigation, as per Irvine Police Department.
The suspect to routinely steals items from store shelves, later returning these products at the return counter. The burglar escalated to newer heights this month, involving a hasty theft of an Apple iPad right from the hands of a Target employee. The police are currently seeking community involvement for the capture of this audacious thief.
The Irvine Police Department, in their Facebook post, asked for help identifying the burglar, not only for the sake of Target but also as an encouragement for Californians to consider how they can help make their environment safer.
