
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has detained a suspect linked to a recent Sage, California, homicide case. On Saturday, October 21, deputies were dispatched to an Alexander Drive residence where they found 28-year-old Autumn Wilkins fatally injured.
The Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation and today, announced the arrest of 44-year-old David Douglas of Lake Elsinore on charges of murder and attempted murder, as reported by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
At present, due to the ongoing investigation, only limited information has been released. The Department's statement indicates that the Major Crimes Unit, in coordination with patrol deputies, located and detained Douglas at a Hemet business on Florida Avenue and Buena Vista Street around 2:40 p.m, today.
