An 18-year-old, Elijah Alvarez, was apprehended on October 3, 2023, in Adelanto, California for alleged vandalism in the 18100 block of Poinciana in Adelanto. Alvarez was arrested after being found in a residence following a vehicle break-in where a window was damaged according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
Given a recent series of car burglaries in neighboring Victor Valley, authorities are investigating possible linkages, aiming to enhance law enforcement strategies whilst understanding the societal variables at play.
Alvarez, currently held on a $10,000 bail, awaits the final verdict of his case according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
