An outburst of gunshots disrupted Hesperia, California, on Monday, October 9, when three suspects targeted an inhabited home. Despite the intensity of the situation, there were no injuries.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department reports that deputies reacted to claims of an unknown assailant or assailants firing at a residence located on the 7900 block of E Avenue in Hesperia. The investigation led to a description of the vehicle involved, which was later linked to an unrelated offense.
Three suspects, Steven Sepulveda, Oscar Galvez, and Mathew Aguilera, all 27, residents of Victorville and Texas, were apprehended after deputies stopped their car found near the scene. Multiple firearms and related evidence were discovered inside the vehicle.
The Hesperia Police Department, backed by detectives, dug deeper into the case, and eventually apprehended Sepulveda, Galvez, and Aguilera. They are taken into the High Desert Detention Center on charges of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, negligent release of a firearm, and conspiracy. The three suspects got released from custody upon posting bail.
