On Wednesday, October 18, a joint investigation led to the arrest of three suspects, Reymundo Garcia, Mason Barron, and Byron Lee, linked to a robbery and a series of home burglaries in Riverside County, California. These arrests were made possible after serving four search warrants within the County of Los Angeles, as reported by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
One of the crimes in discussion was a significant one, where a large amount of high-end merchandise was stolen from a Palm Desert business earlier this month, October 5. Key to the investigation were Riverside Sheriff's Palm Desert Station, Los Angeles Retail Crime Task Force, California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, and Office of Correctional Safety Fugitive Team as per the official release.
Thorough investigation over time by officials led to discovery of leads and evidence, and, it helped to eventually identify Garcia (24), Barron (21), both of Los Angeles and Lee (19), of Compton, associated with the crimes. The trio was later held at the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio on robbery and burglary charges.
