
Earlier today, a fire broke out in a two-story apartment building in Valley Glen, Los Angeles. LAFD ALERT reported that the fire occurred at 6739 N Coldwater Canyon Avenue, with one apartment unit becoming fully engulfed in flames.
A team of forty firefighters were dispatched and launched an aggressive offensive, combining a fire attack with vertical ventilation tactics. According to a subsequent LAFD ALERT update, the team successfully extinguished the fire within 21 minutes, effectively saving the rest of the building and preventing a worse potential outcome for its residents.
In the midst of the chaos, no injuries were reported.
