Responding to a plea issued by LAPD's North Hollywood Division on Friday, October 6, Valley Glen, a community in the San Fernando Valley, rallies together to locate a critical missing person, 70-year-old Mary Jackiw. Mary's disappearance raises alarm as there is concern of dementia and schizophrenia complications.
Mary was last seen on the 6100 block of Vineland Avenue at 8:00 p.m., dressed in a green dress. She is a white female, standing at 5'2", weighing around 150 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. Police are encouraging anyone with information to aid in the search for Mary.
As an effort to encourage further public involvement, the LAPD has established numerous channels for submitting information. This includes the L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers hotline 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477), website www.lacrimestoppers.org, or through the “P3 Tips” mobile application for anonymous reporting.
