The Victor Valley Sheriff's Department is soliciting public help in locating Evelyn V. Castaneda, a 15-year-old girl, last seen on October 27. Anyone with essential information is urged to step forward, according to the SBSD - Victor Valley Sheriff's Department press release.
The department's press release reveals that the teenager was last seen at her Oro Grande high school, arriving by bus with her brother. Shortly afterward, she was spotted entering a gray four-door Oldsmobile Alero driven by her adult boyfriend, Luis Angel Aguilar, an approximately 25-year-old male. The couple and vehicle have since been unaccounted for, raising alarm about the teenager's wellbeing.
In a bid to expedite her recovery, the Victor Valley Sheriff's Department has put out a picture of Castaneda. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, red Vans shoes, and she was carrying a black backpack with butterfly designs.
Anyone possessing information on Castaneda's and Aguilar's current location or any potential encounters are encouraged to immediately contact 911. The department, in collaboration with We-Tip—an organization that facilitates confidential sharing of information without risk of personal ramifications—is also accepting anonymous tips.
