
Earlier today, a 25-year-old worker was critically injured due to an electrocution accident at 2718 S Figueroa St in University Park. He was swiftly rescued by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), and rushed to the hospital, as reported in the LAFD's alert.
A notification about the incident has been sent to the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal OSHA), which will commence an investigation. The safety of workers is vital; therefore, the involvement of Cal OSHA is significant to prevent similar future accidents.
