Firefighters in Buena Park were called into action as flames engulfed a two-story vacant barn, sparking a two-alarm blaze on Thursday evening. According to a Facebook post from the Orange County Fire Authority, the inferno was reported to be "well involved" upon their arrival, prompting a defensive strategy to ensure the safety of both the responders and the surrounding area.
Despite the potential for disaster, as the firefighters battled the roaring fire, reported by the Orange County Fire Authority, "Fortunately, there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians." The call which, blazed into the fire department at about 6:30 p.m., originated from the 7800 block of Western in Buena Park, CA, throwing the community into a state of high alert as the emergency unfolded.
The cause is under investigation.
