Earlier today, a fire ravaged the Orange Grove Mobile Home Park in San Fernando, causing significant injury to one individual and engulfing multiple homes. As reported in a Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) alert, the fire originated in a single-wide mobile home before rapidly spreading to nearby structures.
To respond to the incident quickly, the LAFD managed to extinguish the fire within 46 minutes as detailed in an ensuing LAFD alert. This event resulted in the destruction of one home, with two additional homes in spaces 46, 54, and 55 suffering damage. A male civilian was transported to a local hospital after suffering significant burn injuries to his face and hands. At this time, no other injuries have been reported.
Currently, LAFD is working to determine the fire's cause.
