Two individuals were rescued from a fire engulfing a residential property at the 18000 block of Deodar Street, Hesperia. Fire crews, dispatched to reacting 911 calls about smoke from a house, found the single-story home in a clear state of distress upon arrival, according to a press release by San Bernardino County Fire Protection District.
Firefighters performed a dual operation to suppress the fire, simultaneously searching for occupants inside the house. After receiving advanced life support (ALS) from firefighters and paramedics, the victims were rushed to the local hospital.
The blaze was extinguished within ten minutes, said the press release. Currently, fire investigators are determining the incident's cause.
