
A night ride on a Houston METRO bus turned chaotic when a disgruntled passenger decided to take a disturbing dispute to a dangerous level. In an incident that unfolded this past Friday night, officials say that after being ejected from the bus by fellow passengers, the angry individual retaliated with gunfire, as reported by FOX 26.
The gunfire erupted along the 82 Westheimer Route, near Buffalo Speedway, causing panic at approximately 11 p.m. METRO officials recount the unruly passenger at the heart of the altercation was forced off the bus when tensions reached a boiling point, and then, with vehemence, the individual shot multiple times into the crowded vehicle. Luckily, only one person was reporting injuries and that was from the shattered glass, KHOU details.
Swift action by METRO police brought the frightening ordeal to an end, with an arrest following quickly after the suspect’s violent outburst. Authorities confirmed that a weapon was indeed seized at the scene.
