The driver in question, 43-year-old Jimmy Herrera, eluded deputies following an attempted interaction regarding his dangerous driving.

The pursuit came to an end as Herrara wrongfully drove on State Route 71, causing the deputies to halt the chase due to public safety issues. Identifying the suspect and obtaining an arrest warrant was followed by their investigations. The next day, Herrara was apprehended and detained in West Valley Detention Center for felony evading charges.
