Convicted felon, Richard Trieber, was arrested on October 26 in San Rafael, California, and found in possession of firearms, ammunition, and narcotics.
According to the Marin County Sheriff's Office, investigators discovered Trieber to be carrying an unregistered, loaded Glock 43X9mm pistol in his front waistband.

In addition to the firearm, Trieber was also in possession of roughly $1,093 in U.S. currency. His vehicle was also found to contain ingredients pointing toward drug trafficking activities. The evidence found consisted of two fully-loaded Glock 9mm magazines, a partially loaded FN 5.7-style magazine, and around an ounce of various narcotics including cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and ketamine, along with a digital scale and packaging materials for narcotics, as per the Marin County Sheriff's Office report.
Several charges await Trieber, namely, felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of narcotics intended for sale, possession of methamphetamine intended for sale, and possession of controlled substances while being armed.
The cooperation between the Specialized Investigations Unit and the COPE Team in this case underscores the importance of inter-agency collaborations toward effective policing.
