Yesterday, serial killer Jeremy Rashaud Harris was handed a life sentence without parole for the murder of four individuals in North Texas during 2020.
Swiftly entering a guilty plea, Harris secured a deal with the Collin County District Attorney who, in return, refrained from seeking the death penalty, Fox 4 News reports.
The fatal series of events, driven by Harris, commenced on October 31, 2020, in Dallas, culminating with the killing of Blair Carter in Celina on November 18, 2020. Carter, the father of Harris's former girlfriend, was gunned down at his residence before Harris set fire to the property.
As reported by The Dallas Morning News, Harris was indicted on three murder counts in Dallas County for the drive-by killings of 19-year-old Robert "Jaden" Urrea, 36-year-old Adam Gautreau, and 57-year-old Kenneth Hamilton. In addition, he faced two counts of aggravated assault.
For his crimes in Collin County, he was additionally charged with capital murder.
