The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is actively seeking assistance in locating a missing 85-year-old woman, Evangeline “Vangie” Elhabr. She vanished from her residence on the 12100 block of Bertha Street, in Cerritos yesterday.
According to the announcement by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Elhabr is described as an Asian woman, approximately 5'02" and weighing 108 lbs, with grey and brown straight hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black jacket and black "sketcher" type shoes. Her family is deeply worried about her well-being and plea for public assistance in locating her.
The Sheriff's Department urges anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500, or anonymously through "Crime Stoppers" by dialing (800) 222-TIPS (8477), using the website, or downloading the “P3 Tips” Mobile APP on Google play or the Apple App Store.
