The Riverside County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of several suspects linked to a jewelry store robbery and string of residential burglaries yesterday. These incidents began with a heist in Palm Desert earlier this October, followed by several home invasions under investigation, according to the press release.
The arrest of four suspects, Reymundo Garcia, Mason Barron, Byron Lee, and Julian Hermosillo resulted largely from joined efforts between several enforcement agencies, as reported by Hoodline. These agencies include Riverside Sheriff's Palm Desert Station, Los Angeles Retail Crime Task Force, the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, and the Office of Correctional Safety Fugitive Team.
As the investigation progressed, Destiny Baca, an 18-year-old local, and Analea Miller, a 24-year-old resident of Los Angeles, were arrested on November 8 for their supposed involvement in the robberies. The operation was carried out with the assistance of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Division.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Office encourages anyone with information regarding these incidents to promptly reach out to Investigator Grasso of the Palm Desert Station at (760) 836-1600.
