In a grim turn of events, a 35-year-old man has been cuffed for the fatal shooting of a woman in Apple Valley, in what appears to be a horrific case of domestic violence turned deadly. The suspect detained is Michael Deandre Harris, an Apple Valley inhabitant, accused of murdering 30-year-old Ashly Sinor of Hesperia early yesterday morning according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies got the call around 6:19 a.m. yesterday to the 14400 block of Navajo Road, where they arrived to find a chilling scene: A man, later identified as Harris, was spotted firing a gun into a car in front of the dwelling. Upon the deputies' arrival, he stepped out of the house and was promptly detained. Inside the vehicle, the heartbreaking discovery of Sinor's body riddled with bullets was made, and tragically, she was pronounced dead right there in the suburban stillness of the morning.
Harris, the man implicated in this cold-blooded act, was once linked romantically to Sinor, suggesting that this deadly encounter may have been preceded by a history that only those close to the tragedy can truly fathom. The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division took the reins of the inquiry and uncovered evidence pointing to Harris as the one who pulled the trigger that fateful morning—a morning that culminated in his arrest and booking for Sinor's murder at High Desert Detention Center.
As the community grapples with the shock, law enforcement officials are extending a call to arms for any information that the public might offer. Detective Jacob Angelini, spearheading the investigation, is urging anyone with insights to step forward. As noted on the sheriff's official Nixle alert, "Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact ...", a plea signaling the urgency and gravity of rooting out the full truth behind the circumstances of Sinor’s tragic end.
