Earlier today, a fire occurred in Koreatown, engulfing a two-story fourplex along with a large palm tree outside the building. A team of 33 Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) firefighters successfully quashed the flames within 35 minutes, as reported by the LAFD.
Despite no injuries reported from the incident, officials began probing the source of the fire, which was initially classified as a "large outside fire."
Although the recent Koreatown fire didn't result in casualties, the investigation aims to shed light on how the rapidly growing fire expanded from the palm tree and then quickly advanced to the nearby building.
