On Saturday morning in San Bernardino, a collision between a black SUV and a semi-truck resulted in three individuals fighting for their lives. The crash, reported by the Redlands Fire Department via Instagram, happened near Alabama Street and San Bernardino Avenue around 6:45 a.m. The driver of the SUV fled the scene immediately after the accident.

Redlands Fire Department personnel found the SUV significantly damaged and its passengers trapped inside. Using the 'jaws of life,' firefighters extricated one of the victims, according to KTLA. Two of the passengers suffered cardiac arrest due to their injuries but were resuscitated by paramedics on the scene while en route to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The Instagram post from the Redlands Firefighters confirmed that all three victims were critically injured.
