Marquise Rochard Glasper, 37, is charged with the murder of his wife, Crystal Lynch, 35, along with accusations of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and evidence tampering. Despite the exhaustive ongoing search, the specter of Glasper evades capture. Charged, authorities seek him still. Crystal was last seen alive at their abode in the 7700 block of West Gulf Bank Road, the evening before her family's urgent missing report on May 7. A witness, diving into Glasper's psyche, recounted to detectives the man's prior threats of violence should Lynch ever engage in infidelity, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Police investigations unearthed Lynch's vehicle, which was tainted with blood evidence. Meanwhile, their residence shows evidence of an attempted cleanup. These details come to light as per the officials quoted in the Houston Chronicle.
Lynch's sister, Jennifer Mumphrey, expressed her family's agony to ABC13, "One minute, I'm crying. The next minute, I'm OK. It's been so draining for our family." Jennifer insists, "Nothing that she could have done, said, or anything would put her or anyone to the point where they deserved this. He could have just left her alone." Mumphrey fortifies her plea with a reminder of the two nieces left motherless.
The Houston Police Department is urging anyone in possession of knowledge regarding Glasper or the location of Lynch's remains to step forward.
