In the culmination of a half-year investigation, Houston police have slapped cuffs on the man suspected of murdering his own wife following her disappearance months earlier. Marquise Rochard Glasper, 37, now faces a slew of charges, including murder and illegal gun possession, after being a felon, and tampering with evidence—specifically the concealment of his wife's body—following the vanishing of Crystal Lynch, 35, who was last seen alive on May 6 in their West Gulf Bank Road apartment.
According to the Houston PD, Glasper was arrested on Saturday by the HPD SWAT team, who, after the unfortunate trail went cold for months, managed to book him into the Harris County Jail without so much as a scratch on them. Crystal Lynch's body, however, remains missing, evading the closure her family desperately seeks.
In the couple's apartment and Lynch’s vehicle, as part of the investigation, officers described the scene as one where someone appeared to have cleaned up after a crime—blood hints hidden but not gone. The Harris County District Attorney's Office took the grisly puzzle pieces into account, glueing together the case against Glasper.
