Yesterday, a department store on Adams Ave. in Huntington Beach, California experienced an organized theft of cosmetics. The value amounts to over $1800 according to an official announcement by the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The swift and diligent response from Huntington Beach officers allowed them to apprehend and quickly catch the culprits. Two male suspects were found hiding in a dumpster and at a nearby business, respectively, while the female suspect's attempts to escape ended in an unsuccessful attempt to scale a wall within a complex.
Beyond the immediate incident, it came to light that the female suspect had given false identification information to the police. Additionally, a felony theft warrant was unveiled in a further exploration of her past offenses.
As per the Huntington Beach Police Department, all three culprits have been apprehended and charged with various crimes, amongst them burglary and the earlier reported organized retail theft. The majority of the stolen goods have been returned to the department store, providing a certain degree of resolution for this particular incident.
