
A 48-year-old woman, named Christine Lamphier, was arrested in Huntington Beach on suspicion of murder following the discovery of an elderly woman's body in a local residence. Officers from the Huntington Beach Police Department found the deceased at a home on Tyndall Drive during an early morning call on Friday as reported by KTLA.
According to CBS Los Angeles, the deceased woman's identity has not been released, pending family notification. Lamphier, who was found near the residence, was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of murder.
This tragic incident in Huntington Beach has left many residents with questions. Although many details are yet to be disclosed, police confirmed that Lamphier and the victim were to known each other and the incident appears to be isolated.
