Yesterday, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 43000 block of Navajo Street, Indio, by the combined efforts of the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station, La Quinta Special Enforcement Team, and the Gang Impact Team in relation to an ongoing investigation into a series of commercial burglaries as stated by the Riverside Sheriff's Department.
During the operation, 42-year-old Adrian Padilla of Indio was apprehended. He was later identified as a suspect in a commercial burglary in Palm Desert that took place last Saturday. The execution of the search warrant also led the discovery of a firearm, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property as cited by the Riverside Sheriff's Department. Investigations since the arrest suggest that Padilla might have been involved in additional burglaries in Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, and Indio.
Anyone with information regarding these incidents is encouraged to contact Deputy Jack Rutigliano of the Palm Desert Station at (760) 836-1600.
