With Gutierrez's family grieving, they have extended a $5,000 reward for any information that could lead to the arrest of Mendoza, in a bid to pry loose any tidbit that might serve the course of justice. According to the family's unfortunate statement, their hope is that this monetary incentive might bring forth a witness who, before, might've remained in the shadows.
