A tense situation transpired in La Puente earlier today when a male suspect barricaded himself inside a vehicle near the intersection of Fairgrove Avenue and Sunset Avenue. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) responded to the situation, with their Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) striving to establish a peaceful resolution, according to the LASD report.
SEB and CNT's primary aim was to establish contact and persuade the suspect quickly to surrender peacefully. Yet, the outcome of this specific standoff remains unknown.
