
In Moreno Valley, California, a youth was taken into custody by Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies on grounds of alleged loaded firearms possession on Thursday, November 9. Law enforcement's response was instigated by reports of purported drug usage by multiple males in parked cars near Cottonwood Avenue, located in the city of Moreno Valley. As per the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, owing to deputies' arrival at the site, multiple males rapidly retreated, one of whom, later revealed as 19-year-old Bryant Spencer, discardingly dropped a loaded firearm.
A follow-up by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office can reveal that, continuing to chase the suspect, deputies apprehended Bryant Spencer and started a car search. The deputies' search resulted in finding three more loaded guns, inclusive of a rifle. The investigation surrounding these events prompted the issuance of search mandates for surrounding locations where the subsequent seizure of another gun was realized. A variety of felony firearm-related charges were then leveled against Bryant Spencer at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
With an ongoing investigation continuing, authorities are seeking more information from the public.
