
The Long Beach Police Department has confirmed that local resident Jose M. Serrano Ruiz vanished from his neighborhood on November 19. Last seen near his home on the 80 block of West Pleasant Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. as posted on their Facebook page.
In a recent news release on Twitter, the Police Department detailed essential information regarding his appearance and the time of his disappearance. The added knowledge of Mr. Serrano Ruiz's medical conditions only intensifies the urgency of the situation, classifying him as an "at-risk" missing individual.

Described as a 42-year-old Hispanic male, Ruiz is characterized by brown hair and brown eyes, stands 5'02", and weighs approximately 160 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing a white Nike baseball hat, a black jacket, blue jeans, and sandals. These attires, by no means out of the ordinary, only serve to underscore the perplexing nature of his sudden disappearance.
