
The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) recently shared details about an unsettling incident at Webster Elementary School. Their commitment to the community's safety and immediate response are emphasized, as posted on their Facebook page.
Webster Elementary School officials alerted the officers yesterday, around 9:53 a.m., regarding an unauthorized individual on campus, causing concern for students and staff's safety. Responding promptly, the officers apprehended the suspect, with no weapons found on the scene. In order to enhance the school's security and address public concerns, the LBPD has boosted patrols at Webster Elementary, focusing particularly on the Neighborhood Safety Bike Team's community engagement.
LBPD's report indicates that the individual apprehended at Webster Elementary did not pose an immediate threat.
