Monique Simone Alamillo, known as "Mojo," was found safe yesterday, following a month-long search. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel were supported by the public and media in their diligent search efforts, per the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Mojo disappeared on September 18 from the 27800 block of Camp Plenty Road in Santa Clarita. The 35-year-old mother, recognizable by her medium-length black hair with bleached bangs, brown eyes, piercings on her lower lip, gauge earrings, and a distinctive tattoo of Mario Brothers and a skeleton on her right arm, was last seen on the day wearing a black tank top, purple shorts, and black boots, thus sparking intense community concern, as reported by Hoodline.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons Unit, as well as the public, acted quickly in response to Mojo's disappearance. Calls for assistance led the wider community to action, and the effort put into search and awareness campaigns was crucial in eventually locating Mojo.
