Masked Mob Strikes LA Retail Store, $12,000 in Goods Stolen in Swift Flash RobberySource: Twitter (now "X")/LAPD PIO

A group of seventeen individuals recently coordinated a theft at a retail store in the Southeast Division of Los Angeles. Making use of medical masks and additional materials to hide their identities, the mob shoplifted $12,000 worth of goods as disclosed in a tweet by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

Yesterday, the thieves arrived at the South Alameda Street shopping center in five different vehicles. Sporting nondescript clothing and face masks, they looted as much merchandise as they could fit into their trash bags before swiftly making their getaway, leaving minimal time for authorities to intervene.

The LAPD's Commercial Crimes Division and Organized Retail Crime Taskforce (ORCT) are now seeking public assistance to find the culprits. The police provided descriptions of the suspects, as well as a snapshot of one suspect, a distinctive sweatshirt reading "Ritual of the Spirit" and a bonsai tree logo.
