Earlier today, a fire broke out at a two-story garden-style apartment in Mid-City, Los Angeles, located at 1904 S Robertson Boulevard. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) quickly sprang into action. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters encountered flames billowing from the building's second floor, and launched an offensive mode to control the situation, as per an LAFD Alert.
The fire was successfully brought under control by the LAFD at 11:36 a.m., merely 14 minutes following their arrival. With a force of 36 firefighters from different stations, they limited the fire to its point of origin, averting its spread to adjoining apartments, according to the LAFD Update. Their swift and efficient intervention yielded no reports of injuries due to the fire.
Following the fire's containment, firefighters performed salvage operations addressing residual effects from their firefighting operations in the affected area, which might influence the unit beneath. The primary and secondary searches diligently conducted of the unit confirmed the absence of any occupants during the fire.
