On November 5, 44-year-old Ontario woman, Elvira Gutierrez, was involved in a vehicular pursuit against her longtime boyfriend in Chino Hills. Sparked by a personal dispute at The Shoppes in Chino Hills, Gutierrez reportedly used her vehicle as a means of assault on her then-partner, as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
Witnesses state Gutierrez deliberately rammed into the victim's vehicle multiple times. Deputies on duty during the 7:27 p.m. witnessed the altercation and quickly stepped in, apprehending Gutierrez before any further violence could transpire, according to the SBSD - Chino Hills Police Department.
Gutierrez was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked at West Valley Detention Center.
