The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department remains vigilant against criminal activities with the recent execution of "Operation Consequences." Over the period between on the 4th and 10th, the operation achieved considerable results according to an official report.
Under this operative, a strong alliance with various agencies, including the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Probation, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, was forged. The main objective is to diminish the violent crime rate, dismantle criminal gangs, and apprehend those indulged in illegal acquisition, manufacturing, and distribution of firearms.
During the recent enactment of the operation, the authorities gained substantial triumph across Highland, Victorville, Hesperia, Grand Terrace, Adelanto, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Rancho Cucamonga. According to the press release, four pounds of methamphetamine and fentanyl were confiscated, along with 18 firearms, including three unregistered "ghost guns." Additionally, 11 felonies were apprehended within seven days.
Furthermore, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has demonstrated their support with the provision of extra funds for the suppression of criminal activities in the county.
