Palmdale City promotes greener living with their Sustainable Saturday event on November 4, offering a place for residents to get rid of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronic Waste (E-Waste) at the Antelope Valley Environmental Collection Center (AVECC) via City of Palmdale - Government Post.
As per the announcement, residents in addition to disposing of waste, can adopt pre-owned household, yard or car care products for free, embodying the "Reuse and Reduce" mantra. AVECC lays emphasis on making sure each resident discards correctly and reuses up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds of HHW/E-waste per visit.
