A tragedy struck Panorama City as the LAPD is on the hunt for a gunman responsible for a man's death after a sidewalk shooting turned lethal. The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are in desperate need of the public's assistance to quickly help track down the suspect behind the cold-blooded slaying that occurred on the night of Wednesday as per a news release from the LAPD.

The incident unfolded just before the stroke of 10 p.m. when paramedics, responding to a grim report of a man down, arrived to find out the victim had been shot. Despite their swift response to try and save the man, he was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately died from his injuries a statement from the LAPD PIO indicated.
The LAPD is urging anyone who might hold a puzzle piece to this tragic event to come forward. "Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Operations Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives," the LAPD underscored the need for community involvement. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers or the "P3 Tips" mobile app, ensuring that those hesitant to step into the public eye can still aid in bringing justice to fruition.
The case is still under investigation.
