As indicated in a grim report, three individuals have been charged with operating a sex trafficking operation targeting teenagers at a massage parlor in Redlands, California. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects, identified as Ji Ryang Chae, Jasmine Dakota Beverly, and Earnest Akindele Teamer, are facing charges of conspiracy and multiple counts of sex trafficking of minors.
The allegations suggest that Chae, as the manager of Ace Care Massage Parlor, would have the minor victims pay rent, providing condoms, cleaning provisions, and workspace in return. Acting as recruiters, Beverly and Teamer are alleged to have transported the victims, retaining a percentage of their earnings.
An indictment details abuse that two minor victims, aged 14 and 15, reportedly endured. The victims worked as commercial sex workers, with Chae allegedly collecting approximately $2,000 a month as rent from one of the minors. Another minor, under Teamer's coercion, had to give up some or all of her earnings as per the Department of Justice.
Teamer is facing additional charges in a separate indictment, including transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and production, distribution, and receipt of child pornography. These allegations add to the gravity of his apparent involvement in the trafficking and exploitation of young girls. The trial date is set for June 18, 2024.
