The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department has reported a road rage incident involving 24-year-old Orlando Iniguez who allegedly pointed a firearm at victims. The event, taking place at the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Anderson Avenue on November 6, saw Iniguez brandish a black handgun, causing distress to the victims involved, according to the news release.
Officers dispatched to the Central Station swiftly initiated an investigation into the incident. Accumulating evidence pointed toward Iniguez, a San Bernardino resident, as the probable perpetrator, leading to the seizure of three firearms registered to him via a multiple search warrant execution.
Upon Iniguez's surrender at the Central Detention Center, he was served with an active arrest warrant for PC245 (Assault with a Deadly Weapon), and was detained with a $250,000 bail. The apparently random nature of the incident leaves questions as to the motivation of the suspect's actions and their broader impact on the community.
